Business support for rising energy costs

Here are some resources to help your business with rising energy costs.

The energy price cap

The energy price cap means that suppliers can only charge you up to a certain amount, if you are on a standard tariff.

You may also be able to save money by switching suppliers or agreeing an affordable payment plan.

Ofgem resources

Ofgem has free resources for businesses. This includes:

  • advice on setting up affordable payment plans with suppliers

  • payment reductions and breaks

  • switching energy contracts

Energy Price Guarantee

The government has announced an Energy Price Guarantee. This caps costs at an average of £2,500 yearly across two years for households.

Several support payments are available for our more vulnerable residents. Including:

  • those with disabilities
