Active for Life prize draw terms and conditions

As a thank you for participating in the Active for Life campaign and for filling out the sign up and feedback surveys, Camden Council and GLL will be having a prize draw offering the following as prizes to be won:  

  • one 12-month concessionary membership
  • two 30-day passes at participating Camden’s leisure centres

To be eligible for the Active for Life Prize draw, you must:

  • be a Camden resident
  • be over the age of 60
  • have completed the Active for Life sign up survey and the 12-week feedback survey
  • have indicated that you would like to participate in the prize draw on the 12-week feedback survey

The prize draw will take place on 2 September.

You must activate your 30-day pass or membership on or before 1 October.

Terms and conditions of the 30-day pass

The 30-day pass offers access a range of:

  • fitness classes
  • swimming sessions
  • gym facilities

You can access these at a single centre of your choosing from the below list: 

  • Oasis Sports Centre
  • Kentish Town Sports Centre
  • Pancras Square Leisure
  • Swiss Cottage leisure centre
  • Talacre Community Sports Centre

By activating the 30-day pass the participant agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  1. The 30-day pass permits unlimited access to gym, swim and group exercise classes at a single centre for 30 days, for the individual named on the “Active for life” confirmation. 
  2. The pass enables: access to the gym, swimming pools and fitness classes. Some activities are subject to availability and may require pre-booking which can be completed at the leisure centre. 
  3. The pass cannot be transferred to another individual or at more than one centre from the list above.
  4. The pass must be used for the first time by the 1 October 2024, meaning an end date of 31 October 2024. 
  5. When activating the pass participants will need to share their contact details with Better Leisure and complete the Health Commitment statement. The health commitment statement is a simple form setting out the standards that leisure centres and users can reasonably expect from each other, concerning the health of the user.
  6. This offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. This offer may not be used in conjunction with any other offer. No cash alternative is available.
  7. Any personal data relating to the offer will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the participant’s prior consent. 

Terms and Conditions of the Concession membership

The concession membership offers access to gym, swim, and group exercise at the following Camden leisure centres: 

  • Oasis Sports Centre
  • Kentish Town Sports Centre 
  • Pancras Square Leisure
  • Swiss Cottage leisure centre 
  • Talacre Community Sports Centre

The concession membership must be activated by 1 October 2024.

Additional terms and conditions will be shared upon activation.
