Please note that the full fee for appointments is payable when making an appointment booking. Fees cannot be refunded if you fail to keep or cancel your appointment, or if your application does not meet the requirements to be forwarded to the Home Office. You may however amend the date and time of your appointment up to 12 noon the working day before. If you amend your appointment after this time or more than once, you will lose your fee and will need to make a new booking and pay again for another appointment.
Payments will be accepted by debit and credit card only. Payments can be made using Maestro, Delta, Electron, Visa and MasterCard.
When you book
Please make sure that you book and pay for the correct number of individuals whose applications you wish to be checked at the appointment. If you do not, we may not be able to see you when you attend for your appointment and you will have to make a new booking.
When you attend for your appointment please ensure that you bring your completed application form and all relevant documents to support your application. Please refer to the guidance notes in the Home office application. Failure to do so could prevent us from submitting your application to the Home Office, and you may need to book a further appointment for which an additional full fee will be charged.
The above fees are separate from, and in addition to, the Home Office fees for nationality applications. You will need to make payment for the Home Office fees when you attend your nationality checking service appointment. Details of current Home Office fees and methods of payments can be found at:
