Family-friendly and inclusive early evening activities
This summer, explore vibrant evening activities and events happening across the borough from Monday 20 July to Tuesday 1 September.
As part of our evening and night-time strategy, we’re working with local businesses and organisations to create more family-friendly and inclusive non-alcohol led activities and experiences.
All the events and activities are free or low cost, and they happen between 5pm and 9pm.
Most activities are open to all, with some only certain age groups.
Family Play Sessions at NW5 Community Play Project
Play sessions with indoor and outdoor activities.
- Thursdays from 6 August to 27 August, 5pm to 9pm
- for families, children and young people of all ages
- staff will be onsite but children under 11 years old must be supervised by their families and adults they come along with

Camden Youth Theatre Summer Creative Programme with New Diorama Theatre and Camden’s People Theatre
Creative programme for young people combining filmmaking workshops, a theatre trip and a public film screening.
- workshops on Tuesday 18 August, Friday 21 August, Tuesday 25 August, 2pm to 8pm with the final screening on Friday 28 August, 6pm to 9pm
- for young people aged 13 to 19. The final screening is also open to friends, family and the local community

HvH ARTS Create & Thrive Summer Exhibition Festival
A showcase celebrating young people’s music, dance, DJing, visual art and performance with food stalls from local traders.

Free basketball and football evening sessions at Kilburn Grange Park
Sporting Aid and Netherwood Youth Hub are running free basketball and football sessions in the Kilburn Grange Park Multi-Use Games Area.
- every Tuesday throughout July and August, 5pm to 7pm
- for young people aged 11 to 25
- Kilburn Grange Park Multi Use Games Area is located just off the Kilburn High Road entrance to the park by the Black Lion Public House
