Your Councillors

Local councillors are elected by the community to decide how the Council should carry out its various activities. They represent both the public interest as well as individuals living within the ward in which they have been elected.

They have regular contact with the general public through council meetings, emails, telephone calls or surgeries. Advice surgeries usually take place in venues within the councillor’s ward and are held on a regular basis. You can find a councillor’s contact details, as well as where and when they hold their surgery, by clicking on their name below.

Formal council meetings are currently taking place at the Camden Town Hall, Judd Street, London, WC1H 9JE and most are open to the public to attend; you can find the calendar of meetings here.

Allowances

Councillors are not paid a salary for their work, but they do receive allowances.
