Cycling in Camden

Cycling is a fantastic way to save money, keep fit and to do your bit for the environment at the same time. Travelling by bike is a great way to explore the city, or to get to work or school.

The Mayor’s Cycle Vision for London

In March 2013 the Mayor of London launched his Vision for Cycling in London, which sets out plans to transform the role of cycling in the capital.

Camden is committed to encouraging cycling (more details can be found in the Camden Transport Strategy) and has led the way in London with innovative cycle schemes. The Vision offers an exciting opportunity for Camden to achieve its objectives and targets to increase the level of cycling in the borough, in line with its manifesto commitment to being the best borough for pedestrians and cyclists, and the Council looks forward to helping to deliver the Mayor’s Vision.
