West Hampstead Library.

Please note: the previously advertised temporary closure for planned essential electrical work on Friday 28 August has been postponed.  The library will open at the normal time of 11am.

Future libraries consultation

The future libraries formal consultation launched on 15 July and runs until Tuesday 6 October 2015.

As part of the financial challenge, we are consulting on how we might save £800,000 from the service’s current budget of £4.5m. Although we have less money we will aim to invest £3.7 million to create a modern library service that supports both existing and future customers and best meets the needs of Camden residents.

During this time we want to get the views of as many people as possible in order to help shape Camden’s library service, so please take part in the consultation.

Customers can pick up and return their completed surveys to one of our nine Camden libraries or, for Home Library Service customers, from a member of the Home Library Service team on their next visit.

Alternatively you can log onto camden.gov.uk/futurelibraries and fill one in online.

If you need an alternative format or language please let a member of staff know or email futurelibraries@camden.gov.uk

The next bank holiday is Monday 31 August. All libraries will be closed and resume normal opening times on Tuesday 1 September.
