Following the resignation of Councillor Maeve McCormack, an election is to be held for ONE Councillor for the Gospel Oak Ward on Thursday 4 May 2017.

Updating your household information
You should have recently received a letter or email from us asking you to update your household information. Even if nothing has changed we still need to hear from you and will visit your household in person if you do not respond.
Anybody living in the household can complete the form, even if they are not allowed
to register to vote.
If you are the owner of an empty property you need to complete the form to let
us know that the property is empty.
We have to do this every year as part of an audit of the information that we hold
before we publish a new register on 1 December.
What you need to do:
If nothing has changed: call 0800 3161 571 and enter the security codes printed on your form
If you have changes to make: visit www.registersecurely.com/camden
and enter the security codes printed on your form, or
Complete the form and return it to us in the pre-paid envelope provided.
Changes include adding new people; removing people; changing information about
your age, nationality or how you cast your vote.
Adding new people:
Any new people that are added to the form will need to provide more information about themselves before they can be registered. This information is personal so we will send them an email or separate form to do this. They don’t have to wait for the form or email to register to vote, they can visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
If we don’t get a response from you we will send somebody to visit to help you complete the form.
Visits will take place from 8am-8pm every day (including weekends) between 14 October
– 25 November. Visiting staff will have a Camden ID badge and a letter of authorisation
signed by Ian Buckle, Deputy Elections Manager. They will record the information
we need on a tablet computer and ask you to sign to confirm that the information is

they will visit again.

2018 Parliamentary Constituencies Boundary ReviewOn Tuesday 13 September 2016 the Boundary Commission for England published initial proposals for new Parliamentary constituency boundaries in England.

This publication marks the start of a 12-week consultation period on the initial proposals and ends on Monday 5 December 2016. There will be further opportunities to make representation to the Boundary Commission in 2017. The commission must report to government with final proposals in September 2018.
