Children’s Trust Partnership Board

Camden’s Children’s Trust Partnership Board oversees children’s trust arrangements for Camden. ‘Children’s trust’ means the whole system of children’s services, where partners work together to join up services and improve children’s lives.

The board includes representatives of Camden Council, Connexions, Learning and Skills Council, Metropolitan Police, NHS Camden, Connexions, Voluntary Action Camden and schools.

The Children’s Trust Partnership Board is responsible for delivering the Every Child Matters: Change for Children agenda in Camden and the priorities we have agreed in our Children and Young People’s Plan. To be effective in its role it must be successful in the following areas:

  • child-focused vision;
  • inter-agency governance;
  • integrated strategy (joint planning and commissioning);
  • integrated processes; and
  • integrated frontline delivery.
