The process

With the help of the community, the voluntary and community sector and the Advisory Board Community Impacts will follow 4 key stages.

Each stage is designed to show how Community Impacts will work. These 4 stages are flexible. If something doesn’t work or it works really well then we can review the stages and make sure that the Community Impacts process works as best as it can for everyone.

Stage 1

  • Building a good understanding of Rough Sleeping, Emotional Health and Wellbeing, Youth Offending and Supporting People in the Community.
    • what is going on in these four areas?
    • what are the different ways we can help and provide solutions?

Stage 2

  • Thinking together about how we will fund the community activities
    • how have successful activities been funded before?
    • what is the best way to fund activities that can be created and run by lots of different people?

Stage 3

  • Create some criteria for funding activities
  • Review activity proposals from the voluntary and community sector
    • what will the activities achieve?
    • how do the activities show we are working together?
    • do the activities focus on one area or more?

Stage 4

  • Get activities up and running
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities
  • Share outcomes
  • Reflect and learn
