Doctor's parking bay

A doctor’s parking bay is available for doctors who require a bay sited near their surgery or consulting room, enabling quick response to emergency call outs.

Doctor’s parking bays are not provided to enable routine home visits or other non-emergency vehicle use. Where an applicant has access to off street parking facilities these must also be used for parking purposes and not for general commuter parking in order for a doctor's bay to be granted.

How much does it cost?

The annual permit fee is £255.11 per single bay. There is also a diesel surcharge of £27.10 (if applicable).

From the 1st April 2017 the cost of an annual permit will be £260.05 with a surcharge (if applicable) of £55.91

There is also a one-off implementation fee of £1689.00 to cover the cost of the required traffic management order.
