Careline Telecare: peace of mind and independence at home
Telecare is the name we use to describe a range of services that you can use to get help in an emergency at home.
Our telecare service is called Careline Telecare.
Telecare systems work using your home telephone line. When the special equipment we install is triggered because you need help, the system connects you to an operator, and says who is asking for help.
Often, the telecare system will show what sort of help you need, and make sure you get it. The system may be triggered when you press a special button, or by a telecare sensor.

I live in sheltered accommodation
The system that people who live in sheltered accommodation use works in a different way so that the accommodation scheme manager can deal with alerts in the first instance.
24 hours a day, seven days a week
If you use Careline Telecare, you can get help through our control centre, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
