Service user engagement
Camden Frontline is the main local authority funded drug and alcohol service user group. It’s aim is to use the experience and skills of those on the end of treatment services to help services better meet client need. Camden Frontline has representatives on tendering panels when service providers are chosen and has representatives on ongoing contract monitoring. The group also regularly consults on service user need through consultations at it’s monthly forum attended regularly by over fifty members.
The group also runs a peer advocacy and advice service as well as regular work groups to give input onto various initiatives to develop and improve the range of services delivered by Camden. Camden Frontline arranges social outings and has a website on which you can find more detailed information including copies of a regular newsletter and minutes from it’s open meetings.
