How do I get my white goods collected?

Free collections of any unwanted electrical items are available for Camden residents and businesses.

Anything with a battery, plug or charger can be recycled.

As well as the free service described above, there is a service run by Camden Council for commercial properties:

  • Freezers;
  • Cookers;
  • Microwaves;
  • Ovens;
  • Washing machines;
  • Dishwashers;
  • Tumble dryers;
  • Radiators;
  • Boilers (providing they are broken up into easily carry-able pieces);
  • Steel or Cast Iron Baths (providing they are broken up into easily carry-able pieces);
  • Televisions;
  • Computer monitors (no hard drives);
  • American style refrigerators (providing they are outside on ground floor level).

If you are buying a new, up-to-date model your retailer may take back your old appliance. Shop around to find out who offers this service before you buy, it could save you money.
