Site allocations development plan examination
Inspector Louise Crosby, MA MRTPI, was appointed by the Secretary of State to conduct the examination to determine whether the Site Allocations DPD is sound. Hearings took place between 16 and 23 January 2013.

As a result of the examination process, further changes to the Site Allocations document are proposed. We are seeking your views on the proposed modifications known as Main Modifications (please note that some of the site reference numbers have been amended from previous drafts of the document):

The Council is consulting on these changes until Friday 26 April 2013. It is important
that your comments should only relate to the proposed 'Main Modifications', and not
to the Plan as a whole. The Inspector will not be able to accept any comments outside
In addition to the Main Modifications the Council is proposing a number of Minor Modifications. These comprise factual updates, points of clarification and other minor changes which individually are not considered to materially affect the soundness of the Plan. We have also reviewed the Sustainability Appraisal in light of the Main Modifications and this is published alongside a 'Tracked Changes' version of the Plan. These documents can downloaded here:
