Air quality summit November 2011

air quality summit

This event, hosted by Camden's lead member for sustainability, Councillor Sean Birch and Islington's Council Leader, Catherine West, brought together a range of expert speakers to share information on:

  • the health impacts of air pollution
  • how you can protect yourself from the worst exposure to air pollutants
  • actions that can be taken at a regional, local, organisational and individual level to reduce air pollution.

The summit was a huge success, with over a 100 attendees including residents, councillors and organisations.

Action Plan

Following the air quality summit we are committed to continuing to improve the air quality in the borough through the delivery of a number of projects.
