The last Parliamentary general election was held on Thursday 7th May 2015. Camden is divided into two constituencies, each of which elects one Member of Parliament.

1. Constituencies

The two Parliamentary constituencies in Camden are Holborn and St Pancras and Hampstead and Kilburn.

Hampstead and Kilburn Constituency

This constituency has the following wards:
  • Hampstead Town
  • Frognal and Fitzjohns
  • Fortune Green
  • West Hampstead
  • Kilburn
  • Swiss Cottage
  • Belsize
In addition, the constituency will include three wards in the London
Borough of Brent :
  • Brondesbury Park
  • Kilburn
  • Queen’s Park
These Brent wards are included for the Parliamentary constituency only.

Holborn and St Pancras Constituency

This constituency has the following wards:

  • Highgate
  • Gospel Oak
  • Kentish Town
  • Cantelowes
  • Haverstock
  • Camden Town with Primrose Hill
  • Regent’s Park
  • St Pancras and Somers Town
  • King’s Cross
  • Bloomsbury
  • Holborn and Covent Garden.

4.  Poll Cards, Registration, Postal voting and Proxy voting

Poll cards will be sent out to all eligible electors as soon as is practical after the Notice of Election is published. They will be delivered by Royal Mail. 

The deadline for new applications to register is Monday 22nd May.

The deadline for new applications or changes to existing postal vote and postal proxy arrangements is 5pm Tuesday 23 May.

The deadline for new applications to vote by proxy is 5pm Wednesday 31 May.
