Details:
'Prescriptions' for books can be given to patients suffering from common emotional problems. The books are suitable for adults with mild-moderate problems who feel they would like to try a self-help approach. There is also a small collection on CD. At present, most publications are in English, but there is a small range of booklets in other languages. The books can be borrowed from any of the 6 Camden libraries listed. To benefit from the scheme people can join the library by presenting their prescription.

This scheme takes place in all Camden GP surgeries and 6 Camden libraries (Camden Town, Holborn, Kentish Town, Kilburn, St Pancras and Swiss Cottage Central libraries).
